KILMORA
KILMORA is a brand promoted by Kumaun Grameen Udyog (KGU), an ethical social enterprise based in the Kumaon Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India. It has been a part of the topography of Kumaon since the last 26 years asa  fair-trade and craftmark certified organisation. Their focus is to plough back the earnings into rural development activities through the conscious production of handicrafts, agri-products, direct wage generating skills and tangible community development projects. At present, these include contributions towards two major initiatives of CHIRAG: a rural primary school in Simayal village and an eight-bed hospital in Sargakhet village.  Instagram: @kilmora_kgu

KANIKA RAJ SINGH is the founder of Kalchunya where as an artist she explores creating handmade pendants, canvases and watercolors drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Himalayas. An art educator and a certified practitioner of art-based therapy, she has worked with individuals and groups to promote healing through creativity. She is also a heartfulness meditation trainer. Tarai Blue began with her fascination with a rare blue pigment—indigo. Inspired by childhood memories of old indigo tanks near colonial planters’ bungalows, she started her journey into plant-based dyes in 2019. BAINI

Baini, which means sister in kumaoni, is an initiative by Ridhi to create home based livelihood opportunities for women in her state Uttrakhand. Upon learning the art of crocheting from her mother she moved to a village near her hometown Nainital and imparted the skill to 20+ women.
What started as orders from friends and acquaintances soon blossomed into a thriving enterprise.They make crochet amigurumis, flowers, bags, winter wear and more!

AVANI is a community based organization focused on creating livelihood opportunities in remote rural areas through engagement and training for traditional craft, judicious use of technology to harness local resources and environment friendly farm based activity in the Kumaon region of the Central Himalayas in India for the past 25 years. Our production is completely decentralized, allowing people to work in their villages instead of displacing them. MEERA JUNEJA

MEERA JUNEJA is the Executive Board member of Sri Aurobindo Society Delhi. She is an alumnus of Lady Sri Ram College and has now retired from KLM Royal Dutch Airline as KLM cargo Director for India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. After 30 years of work she took to her inner calling of serving others using the Mother's and Sri Aurobindo's philosophy. Meera has green fingers with an unrelenting passion for gardening and flowers. She has deepened her commitment to work at Madhuban Sri Aurobindo Ashram at Ramgarh.

ANJU KHANNA is a former professor of English who first served as director and now is  a mentor for Madhuban-Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Delhi Branch has a lived and worked to make Project "Khushali" a successful working model..  She has lived, worked, and researched the Talla Ramgarh region since 2000. She set up "PROJECT KHUSHALI"

ABBOTSFORD ESTATE is a boutique homestay tucked away in the quiet corner of the Pangot-Kilbury trail bordering the outskirts of Nainital. Zee's Gourmett Bakes has been in existence since 2020 and I have been creating some delicious baked goodies ever since. The offering includes Cereal, Energy bars, Brownies, Cookies) as well as some chocolate barks.
