Kinny Sandhu is the founder of Tarai Blue. She is also a painter and has always had a keen interest in craft and creating things. She has not had any formal training except for her painting lessons in school. Much recently she has launched her indigo brand TARAI BLUE. Caught up in the magic of indigo and childhoods spent discovering old indigo tanks around colonial planters' bungalows, she started organically growing and extracting indigo since 2019. .Having introduced a new way of growing indigo to Uttarakhand's Tarai region, we've kept our ear to the ground to ensure our indigo has everything it needs. Today, we humbly invite you to come turn your hands blue with pure indigo through our homegrown indigo dye cakes and powders. You can also take home our newest range of indigo-dyed garments that can be traced back to us, down to the seeds used for planting the indigo.
